Stumbled across a vid of one of the last dusky seaside sparrows. I’m used to black & white recordings of species now extinct, but not something as recent as 1980. Ammodramus maritimus nigrescens’s habitat, and thus population was destroyed by NASA in an effort to eliminate Kennedy Space Center’s mosquitos.
